Kevin Wilson and Sandra Allen are a husband-and-wife team that share a love of working with glass. They created Murkay Creations around 2012 when their hobby became more of a passion. Since they moved to Almonte and built their retirement studio in 2015 they have been able to focus on their glass work.
Kevin focused on experimenting with chemical reactions between different glasses and perfecting glass techniques using a torch. Sandra experimented with creating flameworked glass components on a torch and included them as elements in fused glass work. They love gardening which is visible in their work by their use of colour, texture and natural elements.
Today they continue their journey, producing unique jewelry and one of a kind art work.
