Helena Fischer is a Canadian visual artist who began painting in 2015, working primarily with acrylic on canvas. Since then, she has sold a significant amount of her artwork in the North Bay and the surrounding area through co-operative style shops and alongside fellow artisans. She has participated in several exhibitions, including a group show at Novah Gallery and a recent solo exhibition at Equator Coffee Roasters.
She is drawn to painting people playing instruments, exploring the emotional connection between musicians and their craft. Her realistic works are marked by rich detail and striking black backgrounds that heighten the intimacy and focus of each scene
