Juki and Claire Fabric Art

Juki and Claire are the domestic machine and the sewist pair. Working together they make fabric art intended to provoke thought and emotion. Whether a throw, wall hanging or place mat, every piece is unique and affordable. The vision is always to connect daring themes and colours to the long history of using fabric remnants to make beautiful, comforting things. Consistent with this history, is a studio philosophy of zero-waste quilting and a minimalist fabric stash.

This year Claire’s creations juxtapose into the light with the dark side. Some pieces reflect the usual bright, vibrant and joyful fabrics popular today, but other pieces explore themes not often seen in quilting such as MRI brain images, darkness, horror movies and zombie pin up girls.
