Krafty Retirement commenced operations in 2018 by Debbie and Bernie Derbach. They market hand crafted items at Christmas markets throughout Ottawa and the Ottawa valley. Debbie produces Scandinavian Gnomes and over the years has added a variety of other sewn, quilted and knit items.
After retiring from the RCAF, Bernie returned to his love of wood crafting under the banner, Krafty Retirement Woodworks. Bernie’s hand crafted wood products include: Fired Torched Whiskey Tumblers, bowls, charcuterie boards, rolling pins, cocktail muddlers, Scottish spurtles and garden dibblers.  In 2023 he added a very popular Cocktail Smoker kit and Small Flight Crystal Whiskey Boards. He has also developed his own line of Wood Worker Sanding Paste and Polishing creams as well as a Wood Protection Cream with anti-viral and bacterial protection for Bowls and Charcuterie Boards, for added protection.
