Cathy has been painting watercolours for over 35 years and has been teaching in the medium for almost 30 years. She started by taking evening courses via community education programs followed by some coursework at the Ottawa School of Art but otherwise considers herself self-taught. She loves teaching and sharing her passion for the medium with others. Her work is largely nature inspired and can be viewed at Red Dragon Gallery and Gift shop, which is located at her beautiful cottage on Malcolm Lake in Ardoch, North Frontenac where she resides with her husband most of the year.
