Karl Kischel is a painter whose vibrant work has evolved from his great respect and love for the diverse landscapes of the Ottawa Valley and Western Quebec.
Whether canoeing in Algonquin Park, cross country skiing in the Gatineaus,
exploring back country farmlands of the Ottawa Valley or hiking on the Carp Ridge where his cozy studio/gallery is located, Karl finds unending inspiration,
moments when light, colour and form come together to orchestrate a
spiritualism so inherent in our great Canadian landscape.
